Milan is hosting the 2025 edition of IREC – International Real Estate Challenge, the prestigious international business game in the real estate sector, organized by the Real Estate Center (REC) at the Politecnico di Milano, with the support of Colliers Italia and the SIOR Foundation, and under the patronage of RICS Europe. Over 50 students from 8 countries competed on a real-world case study: what are the ideal city and building to host the new headquarters of a European company? Among the cities in the running: Ankara, Barcelona, Brussels, London, Milan, Valencia, and many others.
The final event will take place tomorrow, Friday, January 17, with the announcement of the winning city. Confindustria Assoimmobiliare, which has always been committed to promoting managerial training in the real estate sector, has signed an agreement with the Politecnico di Milano, supporting numerous high-profile initiatives. For this edition of IREC, Matteo Callegari, Head of Research and Head of International Affairs at the Association, is among the members of the jury that will announce the winning city.
