Confindustria Assoimmobiliare participated in the 34th edition of the Scenari Immobiliari Forum in Rapallo, organizing—for the third consecutive year—a forum for dialogue between the real estate industry and local governments. The event was created with the goal of fostering direct dialogue among those called upon to play a leading role in urban transformation processes: on the one hand, public administrations; on the other, real estate operators and investors. This dialogue is essential for bringing together visions, expertise, and the capacity for action to develop concrete solutions to the needs of local communities.
This year, the roundtable—titled “Housing Wanted: The National Initiative on Housing in the ‘Piano Casa’ Plan”—focused the discussion on the issue of housing and the policies needed to address the growing demand for affordable housing.
The discussion involved Rome and Naples—two cities that are profoundly different in size, characteristics, and market conditions, yet both are undergoing a period of urban transformation and regeneration. Representing the City of Naples was Deputy Mayor and Councilor for Urban Planning Laura Lieto, while representing Rome was Tobia Zevi, Councilor for Heritage and Housing Policy, in a dialogue with President Davide Albertini Petroni moderated by Francesca Zirnstein, Director of Scenari Immobiliari.
