The burden of direct and indirect property taxes has had a significantly negative impact on the value of the nation’s real estate assets, with repercussions on household savings. Assoimmobiliare believes that a reform of the IRPEF must carefully consider real estate taxation in order to preserve and enhance an essential component of national wealth and to enable the built environment to evolve in a sustainable manner, both from a social and environmental perspective, including with a view to achieving the objectives of the European Green New Deal.
