Revision of the regulations governing public sector leases. Article 69 of the decree-law in question could represent an important opportunity to revitalize the Italian real estate rental market, as it could provide an opportunity to revise the regulations governing public sector leases with a view to aligning this type of lease agreement—as much as possible—with market conditions. Furthermore, with a view to making the government’s efforts in this direction even more effective, it is considered appropriate to highlight certain issues that could contribute to improving the regulatory framework.
