Nomisma

Nomisma

Confindustria Assoimmobiliare and Nomisma, an economic research and consulting firm, have jointly developed the first performance indicator for the Italian corporate real estate market. This tool is designed to measure the profitability of the corporate real estate segment and was created to guide investment decisions, evaluate manager performance, and enhance the sector’s transparency and appeal to both Italian and international investors. Data collection focused on real estate assets held by Italian asset management companies (SGRs) and real estate investment trusts (SIIQs) that funded the project and whose results are made available to the sector: Amundi, BNP, CDP, Coima, Dea Capital, Fabrica, Generali, IGD Siiq, Investire, Morgan Stanley, Polis, Prelios, Sator, Serenissima, and Sorgente.

Specifically, a global index (considering all properties, regardless of type and location), a core index (including only properties not subject to real estate development or transformation), and three sectoral indices (office, retail, and industrial) were defined, both at the national level and for the country’s major urban centers (primarily Rome and Milan).

The project analyzed corporate investments in 2018, 2019, and 2020. The annual reports are available at the following links:
