“A New Era of Logistics” is a communication project promoted by Confindustria Assoimmobiliare, at the initiative of its member company Prologis, to foster a new awareness of the value of logistics as a strategic infrastructure for economic and social development.
Since its inception, logistics has accompanied the growth of civilizations, enabling the movement not only of goods and people but also of services, knowledge, and ideas. Through trade networks, regions have developed, economies have been strengthened, relationships between peoples and cultures have been forged, and innovation, progress, and prosperity have flourished.
Starting from this historical perspective and moving toward the challenges of the present, “A New Era of Logistics” offers a comprehensive interpretation of logistics that goes beyond the purely operational dimension and emphasizes its systemic role as a connector of businesses, communities, and regions.
